SPD FRECKLED OLENA SPD Freckled Olena, aka BayBay, is a 1999 AQHA bay mare. This is my (Ashleigh's) show horse (cutting) and she is GREAT! I have been showing this mare for several years now, since she was a 4 year old. BayBay is an NCHA and ACHA money earner, we got her NCHA COA the first year I showed her! That's a pretty good accomplishment considering the classes that I was showing her in that didn't have a very good pay out. BayBay has numerous NCHA titles and is also a world show qualifier in 3 different classes, the $2,500 Non-Pro, the $10,000 Novice/Non-Pro, and the $10,000 Non-Pro. We earned several year end titles from previous years, but our most recent titles for 2009 are: for the year end standings overall in the average for all shows in the $10,000 Amateur, we placed 2nd at West Central Texas Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) at Circle T Arena in Hamilton, TX, 3rd at the Double Eagle Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) in the $2KLR, and we finished up 6th place in Area 9 in the NCHA World Standings for 2009! That's pretty good accomplishments for one year! And she was pregnant most of the time through out 2009! This mare is one of a kind and is very athletic, honest and very trustworthy. She is so solid in the cutting pen, doesn't require a ton of loping, and super easy to ride and get along with. She can burry her ass and hold really tough and rank cattle. That is her specialty! BayBay is out of and by proven parents. Bay Bay has had one foal to date in 2008, a gorgeous dun filly, Duals Bam Bam by our grulla stallion, WR Dual Twist. Then I breed her again for 2010 while still showing her while she was pregnant and still qualified for the world show on her! She is truly an amazing mare with a big heart. She is gentle for anyone to ride and or cut on. She is like ole faithful! I'm giving her 2010 off so that she can raise that baby that is in the oven, so in the mean time I can show my gelding HH Gin N Lena. BayBay has been vet checked in foal!!
Here are some pics of BayBay, and me showing in 2009: This one was at American Cattleman Cutting Horses Association (ACHA) in Van, TX in 2009: We qualified for the ACHA World Show in only 2 shows...in 3 different classes! Now, that's consistency!
These were all taken throughout the year at the WCTCHA at the Circle T Arena in Hamilton, TX in 2009: For the year end standings overall in the average for all shows in the $10,000 Amateur, we placed 2nd...
BayBay and I finished up 6th place in Area 9 in the NCHA World Standings for 2009!
