*We had to put Bing down on 4/5/06 due to a very severe case of founder caused from over exertition. It has been a long process and Tom and I have decided that it is the humane thing to do. We are very sad, but we know that she is in a better place and she is not in pain anymore. Already it is just not the same with her not being out at the barn waiting for us every morning and every evening. She is greatly loved and she will be missed. :(

CL Bing O Lena is a 1998 Sorrel mare by Doc Ecivon (NCHA COA & money earner). This mare is a stout, pretty mare. She is very hard to falt her in any place. She has very strong genes and her babies are always as pretty as her. She has a very kind eye that she always passes on to her foals. This mare was in cutting training as a 2 y.o. and got cut pretty bad at the time so we retired her as a broodmare. She is a real nice mare with a big stop. To date, we have raised 3 beautiful foals out of her. She is in foal to WR Dual Twist for 2006.

*New, but bad news for Bing. :( She is foundered real bad and aborted her '06 foal by Dual. It was sad and the worst part is that we may have to put her down. We are currently trying to save her as long she doesn't founder on her other foot. She has a 70 degree rotation completely out of her sole in her left hind foot and a torn tendon on the right hind fetlock. We don't want her to live in pain, but if her progress keeps getting better we will keep her here on earth. She still has so much heart, and strength and will to survive. Tons of progress is seen everyday. She knickers at us when she sees us every time.*
