STEEL MONKEY Steel Monkey is an AQHA Grulla Stallion born on March 2, 2008. Monkey has been tested by the University of California, Davis to be HOMOZYGOUS Black! Meaning he cannot sire a red foal. He has also been tested to be negative herda. Monkey has the sweetest personality!! He is so friendly and always comes up to you out in the pasture. Monkey is halter broke and is very willing to please you. He is healthy and very pretty and definantly a head turner. Monkey is eligible for the foundation registry too. He is a spit and image of his momma, Dry Driftin Annie. Monkey is a son of SGT Poco Noble, a line bred Poco Bueno stallion. Monkey has 2 grulla parents and has a good chance at being homozygous dun factor. I did not have him tested for that, but there is a good chance that he is. He only has a few white hairs on his forehead, but no pink skin under it. Monkey has great conformation, a pretty dish face, perky ears, and a good neck and hip. He is built to be an athlete! He is a wonderful stallion prospect and has the potential to succeed in cow horse events and reining. I expect him to be 15+ hands. Monkey has straight legs and straight teeth and has not scars or blemishes. As you can see in the pictures below, he is athletic and can really use his hind quarters. He is such a pretty mover! SOLD!
