SWINGIN AND PLAYIN Swingin And Playin is a 2006 AQHA Sorrel filly aka Hickey. This is a classy filly who's sire, Lil Fancy Swinging, is an NCHA money earner. She is halter broke very well and is feather light in her face and an outstanding mover! She tracks the dogs around and is showing us that she has tons of cow. She is very smart!!! Hickey was my next futurity prospect and then one day she came up out of the pasture with a cut on the lower part of her leg. She cut a tendon, so the vet tryed to stitch it up and did, but it didn't hold. This injury was a problem for her that became minor now that she is heeled. Needless to say, the tendon did re-attach on its own and she is heeled, but I am not guaranteed that she will be completely sound again for cutting training (cutting is VERY hard on their legs and muscles). She is completely heeled now and we took good care of it, but there are no guarantees on her being completely sound, so I want to sell her as a broodmare. She does not walk with a limp or anything like that, it is just that I would hate to get 15 or 20 thousand dollars in her and then she come up lame. Hickey was ridden a hand full of times before she got hurt. Hickey has good high withers, nice slope to her hip, good angle in her shoulders and pasterns, a pretty head and nice long neck. She has almost perfect broodmare conformation that you would want to pass on to foal. She is currently being exposed to a roan stallion Blue Tripper Hancock for a 2010 foal.
