WR Dual Twist, aka Dual, is a such an outstanding stallion.  We have really enjoyed owning him and using him for cutting and breeding.  Dual is an own son of the famous horse, Mister Dual Pep, by Peppy San Badger.  Mister Dual Pep is a 2.2 Million Dollar Sire, The Equi-Stat #9 Leading Reined Cow Horse Sire, was bred and recently sold by the historical Ward River Ranch to the Babcock Ranch.  Mister Dual Pep's current breeding fee is $4,000.  Mister Dual Pep has won $52,040 and was a finalist at major events across the nation and produced earners in excess of $2,274,106+ in AQHA, NCHA, NRHA, and NRCHA.  WR Dual Twist is so much fun to ride.  We trained him in the cutting pen and he is truly an amazing horse and super talented.  He is real good minded, very trainable and craves a cow!!  He has produced a very high percent of color/dun factor (grullas, duns, red duns, and dunalinos) on his foals on sorrel, bay and brown mares.  We do not guarantee color, because you have to consider that his sire, Mister Dual Pep, is sorrel but Dual's genes are pretty strong.  He stamps a big hip, pretty head, big eye, and athletic conformation on every one of his foals.  Also, MOST of his foals are black footed.  You can click HERE and see Dual's foal page.  Dual is a finished cutting horse with tons of ability, but would have also excelled in reining as well because I could see that natural talent there too.  Dual has a real big deep stop, big sweep, a light mouth, and can crawl on his belly to challenge a cow.  His back is short, and he has good withers with muscles popping out all over him.  And his hip.... it deserves a second applause!  He has an over sized hip with huge gaskin muscles and forearm muscles.  He kinda looks like a miniature halter horse with all that muscle!  His hooves are good and black and don't hardly ever need to be trimmed.  His feet and legs have always been sound and he has never even ever had an absest or anything like that that!  Dual has strong, thick bone and he passes that along also.  He weighs 1150 pounds and is 14.1 hands tall.  He's built like a brick house and he is built to be able to squat and turn around like he does.  Dual can plant a set of 11s in the ground at least 12 feet!!  He is eat up with cow and always keeps those ears forward.  I know he looks brown in these pictures, but I promise, he is a dark slate grulla!  He does have all of the dun factor markings, black tips on his ears, creamy inside, with the mask on his face, and the mousey color.  He was just real sun bleached in these pictures from being turned out in the pasture with other horses and with the sunlight adding a reddish tent, it is hard to get his true color in a photo.  His head is real pretty and small.  Dual can still wear a yearling halter.  We believe that Dual is a fantastic stallion that has all of the credentials, and it is wrapped up all in one package, from brains, to beauty and to bloodlines.  If you are interested in breeding a mare to Dual, please let me know and I will send you a breeding contract.  Special consideration is taken to proven mares and multiple mare discounts are available.  $500 is his 2011 breeding fee plus mare care.  Healthy and correct conformation is required and also required is a negative coggins on your mare.  Dual is also HERDA N/N and was tested by UC Davis.
